My Passion
Sometimes in darkness imagination creativity & opportunity shines through. For me, the pandemic has allowed me to bring my passion for curating, design and merchandising to life by creating my new online gift store. Many of you know me as a retailer either from Hoboken or Philadelphia and know how passionate I am about the hunt, creating displays and having the ultimate joy of sharing it with my amazing customers and the joy it would bring them. Retail has changed so much, not quite sure how it will rebound and for those of you thinking why in the world would I start something now... I thought the same thing, but one thing prevailed and was the brainchild of all of it... kindness. bkindbaskets.com was created with kindness in mind. The gift baskets are funny but useful, quirky & functional, sassy yet sweet, sophisticated & loving, kind & thoughtful yet definitely not your average gift basket! Each gift is thoughtfully curated & sure to be a hit! Most products are locally sourced, small batch and majority are women owned businesses & fair trade! My mantra, be kind...because kindness matters!

For those of you who shopped my store on 13th Street, Scarlet Fiorella, those were some of my best times in my career. I am proud to say I had the most amazing customers, many of whom became friends. We moved to Dallas, TX in June 2013 so I had to close the store. For those of you who remember Sushi, our lil one eyed wonder and mascot, we enjoyed our special boy for close to 14 years! He and our lil Coco went to doggie heaven :( Scarlet our daughter, is now at NYU Clive Davis School of Recorded Music as a singer/songwriter/producer.
